I purchased this magnificent Turntable new in 1980, and it is still in perfect condition. It is fitted with a GRADO PRESTIGE MOVING MAGNET CARTRIDGE & STYLI, that has had very little use and has only just been "RUN IN" so to speak and sounds fantastic. The cartridge alone cost $350. The platter and tonearm are totally isolated and suspended to reduce any outside interference, especially in older style houses with wooden floors. The feet are fully adjustable, making leveling the turntable very easy. The Lid (Dustcover) does not have a mark on it. The Turntable has recently been serviced and checked by Andrew Coles, the "TURNTABLE GURU" at AUDIO TRENDS and is now sounding as good if not better than the day I bought it. This is one of the better BRITISH TURNTABLES, made for people who take their music seriously. It is a true TRANSCRIPTION TURNTABLE, NOT A TOY, and has been looked after like a silkworm. It is very easy to use and has many years of life left.
