The suspension has been upgraded from last year's to the RST (Rapid Suspension Technology) Sofi forks with 50mm travel. This suspension is made for fitness purposes and for riding around built-up areas on paths or roads. The travel is typically set at 50mm (distance of compression in forks) which is less than the Cypress 2W (next level up) but can be adjusted. It has a very comfortable saddle which sits on asuspension seat post (as well at the suspension in the forks)to addto the comfort.The Shimano Altus/Tourney gear system provides reliable and precise shifting with minimal effort on the part of the rider. And of course the brakes are Alloy "V" brakes.Reinforced rims add to the strength of the bike and means that the bike is less susceptable to damage from bad road surfaces.This bike isthe cheapest model you will find in our standard hybrid range that still has the front suspension.
