This enables Giant to produce an extra strong frame (lifetime guarantee) while keeping the weight down so that it can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The Marzocchi 22 suspension forks have rebound adjustment and a remote lock-out. This allows all the adjustment the average off-road cyclist will require. The ability to lock the forks out when climbing is a very noticeable and worthwhile benefit.Hydraulic disc brakes may seem a bit of overkill but the benefits of having excellent braking soon become evident when you venture off-road. The brakes have a light responsive feel so you can regulate the braking exactly as required whether on a near vertical slope loose gravel or wet grassy slopes. It is a great confidence booster to know you can stop in a tricky situation.The Deore gears change well and while certainly not race standard for most of us they will provide precise accurate gear changing. The wheels are again designed to be super tough they will certainly give years of trouble free cycling. The rims are Sun Rhyno Lite with stainless steel spokes and Shimano disc brake hubs.
